Taos Rabbit


      Title: Taos Rabbit

  Serves: 4
 
      1 rabbit
      2 qt. cold water                 
      1 c mild vinegar
      2-3 t red chile powder
      1 lg onion
      1 t salt    
 
         Cut rabbit into serving pieces, peel onion and put all ingredients into stew pot.
  Simmer until meat is tender.  Thicken gravy with flour or ground sunflower seeds.
