Title: Spring Lamb Soup Categories: Native, Native amer, Pixel Serves: 4 1 lamb shank with meat on 1 medium onion, chopped 1/2 tb salt 1 t coriander seed & 2 peppercorns, crushed 1/2 clove minced garlic (optional) 2 c soaked pinto beans 2 qts. water Put all ingredients into large iron kettle and simmer for four hours or until beans are very tender. Remove bone, mash beans thoroughly. Reheat.
