Welcome to the Music Pages!

I enjoy good music. My interests span the full spectrum of available music, although I do tend to gravitate toward Native American, folk, Celtic, world, jazz, or the odd 80's song. Because of this, I started, long ago, to create a site to feature local artists who my husband and I have heard at local coffee shops, powwows, etc. I will continue to do so as long as I can find someone to feature. There are both dates and artist bios on here; feel free to check out both. And now, without ado, the info:

I used to regularly post upcoming performances of artists. Alas, with the exception of Bill Neal's upcoming event, I've been without any information recently (well, I rarely get Nackers flyers, but I usually get them too late to publicize them). So, if you happen to know of upcoming performances of good musicians in the LA area, tell me! Give me at least two weeks' notice on this stuff, if possible; that gives me time to work around my hellish work schedule to put them online. Also, give me contact information and if possible, the address of the place where the person/s will be performing, as well as information on who is performing. Monthly listings will be greatly appreciated, but try and get them to me ASAP, either on the 'Net or otherwise. If you would like to send me information via the postal service, drop me a note, and I will send you a mailing address.
